Duplicator – WordPress Migration Plugin installer issues

Duplicator gives WordPress users the ability to migrate, copy, move or clone a site from one location to another and also serves as a simple backup utility. Duplicator handles both serialized and base64 serialized string replacement. WordPress migration and WordPress backups are easily handled by this plugin.

Some time installer may not work properly as expected. Often we may face the following issues when install.

Why do I get plain/binary text or a download prompt when browsing to the installer?

 1. Plain Text

Then the web server may have some issues with pushing the file down to your computer. The easiest way to get a good copy of the installer is to try the following:

• In FTP to 'wp-snapshots\date_sitetitle_token_installer.php'. Find the installer file name associated with the correct package and download it. Next try to open in an editor like Notepad++. The file at this point should be a normal PHP file
